Haiti - Culture : 37th Festival of New Latin American Cinema
As of Thursday, November 3 to December 13, 2015, will be held in Havana, the 37th Festival of New Latin American Cinema.

The Haitian documentary of Arnold Antonin "Traversée des mondes de Frankétienne" was selected to compete out of competition, in the "Latin American Perspectives" section. Recall that this documentary was presented in preview in Haiti at the Hotel Karibe in January 2015.

The zombies and guédés are important and the most confusing of the Haitian imagination and specifically that of Frankétienne. This documentary is a trip through the worlds of Frankétienne. It leads us into the mysteries of his poetic creation, literary, dramatic and plastic. Frankétienne appears as a top flight poet, musician, an actor, Nobel hunter and director of his own death.

With informed interventions by : Marie-Andrée Etienne, Stéphane Etienne, Lyonel Trouillot, Dany Laferrière, Rodney St-Eloi, Kettly Mars, Jean-Claude Fignolé, Marie-Alice Théart, Mireille Jérôme, Paula Péan, Ricardo Lefèvre, Chantal Volcy Céant.
