In a statement signed by the Coordinator of the Commission Armand Louis "The Independent Electoral Commission of Evaluation informs all that given the amount of work remaining, it will not be possible to deliver the report on the date set by the Order [30 December 2015]. Indeed, after evaluating the rest of the work at Votes Tabulation Center (CTV), the Commission think it can say with certainty, that the report will not be available in 2015. This is why it requested an extension of its mandate. Confident that the verification at CTV will comes enrich its work, the Commission reiterated its commitment to the Haitian people to conduct this process of electoral evaluation independently and without bias."
