"If shepherds of the flock, we are the wolves, if keepers of the house, we are the thieves that break and loot it, if rebellious to the best of ourselves, we fail in our solemn commitments, then it will be time to enter into judgment with us and hold us accountable. It was August 16, 1946, Dumarsais Estime taking the inauguration as President of the Republic of Haiti, said the words front the National Assembly.

Haitian people, participate in the second round of the presidential election organized by that CEP and ordered by that Executive, under the obedience of his friends would be a serious mistake, a man must know when to stop [...]

I say to you today is not with Jude Célestin [that elections will take place], if he wants [Martelly] that he takes a decree and that he ppointed his President [...] if he wants to make a masquerade, that he make it for him.

But, whatever the person who will participate in this January 24, is a traitor to the Nation [...]
