Call for political truce
Abel Descollines, First Secretary of the Chamber of Deputies, called for a political truce for the establishment of a government, announcing in a near future the analysis of documents of the Prime Minister named.

The Senator Larèche condemns the empty chair policy
Sen. Ronald Larèche, Vice-President of the Senate deplored and condemned the policy of "empty chair" used by the minority bloc (G9) to prevent the holding of plenary meetings to the general body, a policy yet in use for nearly 5 years by the same opposition, majority of today to block the Senate under the Martelly administration.

According to him, last week the G9 had already boycotted the election of the President of the Senate. The Senator Larèche that he will ensure the interim until the election of a new President but he has no longer intention to become President of the Senate.

4 women at ministerial cabinet of transition

Disagreement on the representative of the Human Rights Sector to the CEP
The Platform of Haitian Human Rights Organizations (POHDH) denounces corruption, pressures and threats acts that led to appoint Kettly Julien the Executive Director of the Mobile Institute of Democratic Education (IMED) as a representative to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). Also, officials of the platform have decided to resume the process for designating, according to standards other representative to the CEP. Furthermore Kettly Julien, 3 other candidates are running to represent the human rights sector : Dejean William, Jean Simon Saint-Hubert and Edmé Remy. Note that Kettly Julien has not confirmed her participation in these new elections.
