Haiti - Training : Launch of the work of the Professional School of Kenscoff
Thursday, Ms. Marina Gourgue, the Secretary of State for Vocational Training, accompanied by Mervil Guillaumette the Director General of the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP), has launched the construction work of the Professional School of Kenscoff in the presence of the Deputy of the commune, Alfredo Antonio, the representative of the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), Edgard Thursday, members of the Civil Society of Kenscoff, executives of the INFP and from the the Programme Coordination Unit (UCP), of the execution firm and the inhabitants of the area.

The specialties taught in the future training center will be: farming techniques, motorcycle mechanics and building construction (masonry plumbing electricity).

Construction of the Professional School of Kenscoff is achieved through a grant from the BRH to be completed by the Public Treasury funds. This school will be built on the site of the BRH following a resolution of the Board of the bank in October 2015.

Recall that the approaches of the Office of the Secretary of State and INFP for the construction of the vocational school, dating back to May 2013 to enable young people to the area to get after 2 years of learning, a Brevet of Professional Competence (BAP) and to enter the labor market.
