Haiti - Sports : Sports Cooperation with Taiwan
Tuesday at Polyvalent Training Centre (Ranch of the Croix-des-Bouquets), Abel Nazaire, the new Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, received the Ambassador of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti, Hwang Tsai-Chiu, in order to identify some avenues of cooperation in the field of Youth and Sport.

During exchanges the Minister Nazaire was very sensitive to the reopening of the National School of Sport Talents (ENTS) which, according to him, has given satisfactory results. He has, moreover, sought support from China in material and sports equipment for the smooth running of school games in 2016.

The Ambassador Hwang who joined the Minister Nazaire in its commitment to mentor young people, spoke on the need for basketball scholarship and athletics to Haitian athletes to get license in one of 4 sports universities in China. Believing that his country can contribute to the framing of Haitian youth in the framework of bilateral cooperation. The Taiwanese diplomat proposed to the Minister Nazaire to identify priority projects in the sector to submit to his Embassy.
