Haiti - NOTICE : Scheduled power cut in the metropolitan area (UPDATE)
The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs the general population and particularly its customers that, following the breakdown of the conductor of 69 kV at the Canapé-vert substation today Saturday, June 4, in the morning, urgent cuts had to be programmed in various locations, including : Canapé-vert, Downtown Pétion-ville, Avenue Panaméricaine, Musseau, Road of Frères, Pernier, Morne Calvaire, Marlique, Montagne Noire, Roas of Kenscoff, to name a few, in order to make rapid repair of the broken conductor. EDH apologizes for any inconvenience this work will cause to its customers and for this untimely interruption, and reassures it that its team work tirelessly to restore power around 1 p.m.

The Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs the population in general and especially its customers that as part of the renovation project of the substation Ancien Delmas, and in order to improve service to its customers, of lines extension works,will be done "Sunday, June 5, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Therefore, scheduled outages will be recorded in the neighborhoods of Nazon, Delmas Road, Airport Road, Fragneau Ville, Silot, Avenue Poupelard, Road of Clercine, Delmas 33, Bel Air, Lalue Solino, to name a few, will be without power at the time and to the abovementioned date.

The EDH understands that this work will be inconvenient for its customers, and appeals to the collaboration of everyone, for the completion of this work in the best conditions and on time."
