Haiti - Elections : Wyclef supports Michel Martelly ?
Wyclef Jean, isolated from the presidential race, was Sunday in Port-au-Prince to lead a protest alongside Michel Martelly, one of the favorites to the presidential, calling for the annulment of the elections because of frauds and massive irregularities in favor of the candidate Jude Célestin of the platform INITE.

"We should not steal the popular vote," said Wyclef Jean whereas the cortege heading toward downtown Port-au-Prince. "Someone just ask me if I'm supporting Micky I support fair election and that's why I'm on top of this car with Micky !" made know Wyclef Jean.

It seems that Michel Martelly just got Wyclef Jean significant support for subsequent events, continuation which will depend on the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), of Government and probably the international... unless it is the population which decides, if the decisions do not go the right direction...

While 12 of the 18 presidential candidates have called for the annulment of the elections, Gaillot Dorsainvil, the president of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) said "Voting continues" (offices closed at 4:00pm), reminding that the CEP was the only body able to cancel the elections and "that the situation would be evaluated later in the day".
