Haiti - Elections : The point at the tabulation center
Tuesday at 12pm, about 15,000 of 33.500 minutes (PV) had been received at the treatment center (tabulation), or about 600 people work since Monday morning. Over 60% of 15.000 PV were treated, confirmed yesterday, Alain Gauthier, Canadian technical director of the center. He hoped, receive all minutes by Wednesday.

Mr. Gauthier advised that there are 6 copies of each minutes. "One for the polling station, one for the communal elections office (BEC), one for the departemental elections office (BED), one for the leading candidate in the office, one for the second candidate and one for the CEP".

Mr. Gauthier said that "the partial results in circulation in Port-au-Prince", are not from the tabulation center, but are due to the existence of six copies of each PV and parallel counts more or less accurate, made by parties or candidates.

Wisest is to await the proclamation of the official results on December 7th, in accordance with the electoral law. Then the period of contestations will start, by the candidates, and on December 20th the final results will be published.
