Haiti - Elections : Mirlande Manigat present the 7 Senate candidates of RNDP
In a circular letter addressed to the members of the "Rally of Progressive National Democrats" (RDNP), Mirlande H. Manigat, the Party's General Secretary recalls that the RNDP did not present a candidate to the Presidential, but it has 7 candidates for the renewal of members of thirds of the Senate.

List of candidates to the Senate of RDNP :

- Me Michel André (Department of West) [formerly of the platform JISTIS] ;
- Robens Marcellus (Department of North) ;
- Mona Eliacint Leandre (Department of Northeast) ;
- Jean Willy Jean Baptiste (Department of Artibonite) ;
- Prudent Martial Joseph (Central Department) ;
- Janin Leonidas (Department of the Grand’Anse) ;
- Jean Fritznel Bellefleur (Department of Northwest).

Mirlande Manigat stresses "you probably know a few. We rely on your active solidarity in the name and for the good of the Party. The general context is complex and we are aware of the challenges. We also have confidence in the ability of our candidates to worthily represent the ideals and values of the RDNP."
