Haiti - Women's Football : Borkowski satisfied of the U15's performances
Shek Borkowski, technical director of the women's team of Haiti, said he was pleased with performances of U15 during the 4 matches of the 2016 CONCACAF U-15 Girls Championship in Orlando, USA. Haiti beat Trinidad & Tobago (5-0) https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-18324-icihaiti-u15-football-the-grenadieres-crush-trinidad-[5-0].html and the Dominican Republic (5-0) and lost 2-0 against Mexico https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18281-haiti-u15-football-our-young-grenadieres-lost-against-mexico-[2-0].html and 1-0 against USA https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-18313-haiti-u15-football-without-demerit-our-grenadieres-bow-[1-0]-before-the-usa.html

"These are 13 and 14 year old players and they were here to learn and to gain experience. We have scored 10 and conceded 3 and all three we conceded were youthful errors," recalled Shek Borkowski, adding "We gave them a good collective platform and I thought our discipline, work ethic and general ball movement was good [...] In hindsight we should have made different personnel decisions against Mexico, but we have learned much about players [...] Overall it was a really good experience for us [...]"

By analyzing the performance of the competition, Borkowski declared "I encourage them to be confident, creative and to take risks in possession and to be disciplined out of possession, so overall I am pleased with the level of performance. I’m really excited about them moving forward [...] It was a good tournament, our performances against USA and Mexico deserved more but we are making good progress with this group of players."
