Haiti - Caribbean Cup 2017 : Pre List of 30 players selected

As part of the 3rd phase of qualifiers for the Caribbean Nations Cup, Patrice Neveu, the national coach released a pre-list of 30 players (11 locals of D1 and 19 expatriates) for the next two matches of the final phase of the qualifiers of the Caribbean Cup 2017 that the Grenadiers will compete in the month of October.

Tuesday, local players started their preparation to the FIFA Goal Centre of the Croix-des-Bouquets and will joined in a few days by expatriate players. Under these playoffs the Grenadiers will play two matches, the firstagainst the French Guiana at the national Silvio Cator stadium in Port-au-Prince on October 5 and the second against the Saints Kitts and Nevis at Warner Park Stadium, in Basse Terre, on 11 October.

In the aftermath October 8 French Guyana hosts St Kitts. From that triangular one selection, the first in the standings, will qualify directly for the finals of the Caribbean Cup 2017 to be held in the US in May 2017.

This qualification tournament for the Caribbean Cup n also provide access to the Gold Cup 2017. This means that this qualification phase for the Caribbean Nations Cup is of great importance for our national team, who can not afford to miss this event, with twice objective after elimination for Russia 2018.
