Haiti - FLASH : 3 police officers died on duty...

Garry Desrosiers Deputy Spokesperson of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) reported that Friday, Fénel Souffrant, a police officer (Agent III) had been mortally wounded by 3 bullets, while trying to protect the citizens, from individuals who ransomed of citizens in Montagne Noire area. He was rushed to hospital where he passed away.
Moreover, Sunday a little before noon, a police inspector was hit by several bullets in the head, one of his colleagues (Agent IV) was also mortally wounded, as they were preparing to help merchants that several gunmen ransomed in a market to Damien, near the Ministry of Agriculture. In the gunfire exchange one of the attackers was mortally wounded while his accomplices managed to escape on a motorcycle. According to testimony bandits were between 6 and 8.
