The CEP does not intend to change the date of the second round
Many political actors including presidential candidates continue to call for the advancement of the date of the second round, to allow the inauguration of newly elected President of the Constitutional February 7, 2017. They believe that the Provisional Electoral Council ( CEP) can not take the investiture of Presidents René Préval and Michel Martelly as "jurisprudence" to trample with impunity the date prescribed by the Constitution. For its part the CEP seems deaf to the increasing appeals and does not intend to change its timetable, constitutional or not.

Dubai will print the balots for the 2nd Round
