Haiti - Quebec : Call for projects 2016-2017

In the framework of cooperation Quebec-Haiti 2016-2017, the Ministry of International Relations, in collaboration with the Haitian Ministries of Culture and Communications, Education and Health and in partnership with the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal launches the 5th call for projects.
For the 2016-2017 edition, the themes chosen together with the General Consulate of Haiti in Montreal are culture, education and vocational training and health and social services.
The submitted projects must fall within the following sectors :
Cultural sector - Objectives :
- Improving access to and participation in cultural life as a social development tool, economic and territorial.
- Promote professional exchange and expertise between cultural organizations (eg public libraries, public reading centers and cultural animation) in the fields of books and reading, museology, tangible and intangible heritage and cultural industries (especially in film and television production) and in the framework of projects promoting digital cultural development.
- Promote, in a perspective of reciprocity, the cultural presence of each entity in the territory of the other, including co-production, joint publishing, promotion and dissemination of works and cultural products, the mobility of artists and cultural journalists, by holding events in collective scope and the development of partnerships between cultural institutions.
Education sector and vocational training - Objectives :
- Promote exchanges and institutional partnerships in education and research, including through the mobility of teachers, researchers, students and professionals.
- Encourage the sharing of expertise, exchanges and partnerships in vocational and technical training in line with the labor market.
Health and social services sector - Objectives :
- Encourage institutional partnerships in health and social services, including through the mobility of stakeholders, experts, teachers and students.
- Promote professional exchange and sharing of expertise between Quebec and Haitian agencies responsible for health and social services.
- Facilitate the holding of training and exchange activities related to the health sector and social services in Quebec and Haiti.
Organizations, institutions and companies involved in one of these three sectors are invited to submit the project submission form no later than 9 December 2016 (12.00), by email at the email addresslaurence.pepin-lafond@mri.gouv.qc.ca
Any file received after this deadline will not be considered.
