Haiti - Jacmel : Skip school, 5 students arrested

Following a complaint from residents, the deputy Commissioner of the Government of Jacmel, accompanied by police forces, intervened on the Place Toussaint Louverture where about thirty students were engaged in debauchery activities according to witnesses, smoking marijuana and dancing loudly instead of being in class.
5 students were arrested, the others fled...
Arrests welcomed by Mayor Marcky Kessa, who denounces the delinquent behavior of students who leave during school hours, while academic results continue to deteriorate year after year...
