Haiti - FLASH : Protesters parties refuse the results and harden their positions
The 3 protesting parties "Pitit Dessalin" (Moïse Jean-Charles), LAPEH (Jude Célestin) and "Famni Lavalas" (Maryse Narcisse), do not recognize the victory of Jovenel Moïse according to the final results published by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19698-haiti-presidential-2016-final-results-jovenel-moise-58th-president.html they are hardening their positions and preparing to fight a long battle on all fronts calling for mobilization and saying they are ready for some to defy the law.

Moïse Jean-Charles losing candidate for president under the banner of "Piti Dessalin" came third with 117.349 votes (11.04%), criticizes the Office of National Electoral Litigation (BCEN), which prevented the verification at the Vote Tabulation Centre (CTV) specifying "when the law is against the people, the people must be outlawed We have the choice to remain quietly at home and deliver the country to these people or take the streets to claim our rights and denounce the electoral coup," adding "We will move on to the political phase."

Jude Célestin candidate losing to the presidency under the banner of "Alternative League for Progress and Haitian Emancipation" (LAPEH) came second with 207.988 votes (19.57%), furious against the CEP for publishing the final results of the poll "without carry out a verification in due form", does not attach any importance to these results nor to the speech of Jovenel Moïse. He announced that he would continue the battle and called for the pursuit of peaceful mobilization.

Maryse Narcisse, presidential candidate under the banner of "Fanmi Lavalas" arrived 4th with 95.765 votes (9.01%) supports in a statement, that these results have no foundation.

"[...] When we saw how the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) through the National Electoral Litigation Office (BCEN) chose not to respect article 187 of the electoral decree which allows the protesting parties to makes verification at Vote Tabulation Centre after the BCEN had ordered verification;

When we see the CEP's conspiracy through the BCEN not to apply article 158.1, 171.1 of the electoral decree where three quarters of the minutes have not been processed;

When we find that the CEP refuses to respect the democratic principle that is one person one vote;

For all these reasons, the Political Organization Fanmi Lavalas says that it continues to reject this electoral coup, it does not recognize any results of the CEP until the verification that should have been carried out, continue as it should do as required by the electoral decree.

Fanmi Lavalas asks all democrats, all peasant associations, workers, students, professionals, women and of young people to continue to mobilize against the CEP and all the thieves of their vote.

We will never obey !"

Note that on Wednesday, responding to the call of "Famni Lavalas," more than a thousand people have descended to protest in the streets of the Capital. A demonstration quickly dispersed by the police with tear gas bullets in the district of Delmas 2.

For the former Senator Yvon Feuillé (Famni Lavalas) "[...] the verification of the minutes has not been completed and this electoral coupis an open door to the dictatorship [...]"
