Haiti - Dominican Republic : Massacre of a Haitian family 10/01/2017 09:47:57
The coroner's report indicates that all victims had injuries in different parts of the body, particularly the head and certify the cause of death was due to multiple wounds from white weapons. According to a preliminary report published by the Regional Office West of the Dominican National Police, this quadruple murder would have been committed by 3 Haitian suspects : Yefferson Memé (38) and his concubine Anius Shal, 32, who were arrested and a third man identified as Joseph, on the run and wanted. Brigadier General Aquino Radhames Reynoso Robles, Director of the Western Regional Police based in San Juan de la Maguana, said that according to initial statements of the arrested suspects, the victims Camile Antoine and Jeaneta Joseph had returned to the Dominican Republic, after visiting Haiti to practice acts of witchcraft against them, for a confused history of passionate revenge... The bodies of the victims were sent to the Dr. Ramon Armando Aybar Hospital of the city and then to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences-INACIF, Azua for autopsies, at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor.
