Elections, accountability
This week at a press conference, Yves Romain Bastien, the Minister of Economy and Finance called for accountability, all institutions that have received and spent money for the current elections. Recalling that the elections were financed by the Public Treasury, Minister Bastien considered that all these institutions that have spent the taxpayers' money must be accountable to the Nation, assuring to have passed instructions in this sense.

MBA program in Cap-Haitian
On the initiative of the Public University of the North in Cap-Haitien (UPNCH), as part of the forthcoming implementation of a new MBA program (Masters in Business Management), a working meeting is planned with Mission of professors from Canada and France. This meeting will focus on the real need for Northern Entrepreneurs in terms of young executives capable of participating in the development of their Business.

Elections, public awareness sessions
At 9 days of the elections, scheduled for 29 January, in collaboration with the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) that involved its local representatives on the ground, , awareness sessions for local elections are held in public places, schools or churches. They are addressed to the population of voting age, as well as to the representatives of the Departmental Electoral Offices (BED) and Communal (BEC).

CONATEL : Fight against interference

Two acts voted in the Senate
Wednesday in a plenary session, senators voted in second reading two bills. The first on the "Fortification of food in micronutrients" and the second on the use in Haiti of the logos and denomination of the Red Cross, the Red Crescent and the Red Crystal.

Development work at IFORHT
Kenn Duval, the Director General of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries, accompanied by the South Departmental Director Pierre Jude Bonhomme and the Coordinator of the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Training (IFORHT) met with the faculty and students to share some information on the development work of the Directorate of Tourism and IFORHT.
