Haiti - Culture : A Haitian-Canadian finalist at Miss Canada 16/02/2017 09:12:06 Of Haitian origin, Liliale Ulysse arrived in Canada at the age of 12 years. She is a graduate student in Sociology and International Development at the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO). She defines herself as a determined, positive, responsible, dynamic, ambitious and persevering woman. Open-minded and naturally curious, she always seeks to meet new people and discover new cultures. She is a source of inspiration and motivation for young people in Canada and around the world. The Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal unreservedly supports the candidacy of Liliane Ulysse and asks the Haitian Community of Montreal and all the compatriots around the world to regroup behind her so that her dream becomes reality and that vibrates again the Haitian pride on a global scale. The Consular Mission invites all to vote for her on the website www.misscanada.org/liliane-u/ before the final Grand Gala which will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at the Sheraton Hotel in Laval.
