Haiti - Social : Moving tribute from youth to our national bicolor
As part of the ceremonies commemorating the 214th anniversary of the creation of the national flag at Arcahaie, nearly 600 young people from various schools in the City of the flag, supervised by technicians from the Directorate of Physical and Sports Activities of Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) offered the officials and the public a remarkable and moving show.

This show constituted, on the one hand, a historical reminder of the pre-Columbian era and, on the other hand, a staging of the Arcahaie Congress, the creation of the flag followed by the demonstration of platoons of honor, parades of flags and marching bands.

Very much applauded, the young people have distinguished themselves brilliantly by combining their talents as dancers, artists, energy and know-how, to present a spectacle worthy of the 214th anniversary of the creation of the flag.

Note that in the various departments of the country, several sporting and socio-cultural events : parades of honor corps, majorettes and marching bands have been organized by the departmental directorates of the Ministry of Youth to enable all young people without distinction to join in the celebration of our bicolour, symbol of identity, sovereignty and unity of our people.
