Haiti - Justice : Opening of a criminal investigation into the attack on the presidential motorcade
Tuesday, at a working meeting of the Lower House Committee on Justice, Human Rights and Public Security, focusing on security in the country with members of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN) ; The Commissioner of the Government of Port-au-Prince, Clamé Ocnam Daméus, revealed that a criminal investigation had been opened in the case of stones launched against the presidential motorcade on April 7, described by President Moïse as a "terrorist act" http://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20605-haiti-flash-presidential-motorcade-attacked-moise-safe-and-sound.html

Commissioner Daméus told members of the Commission that "The action against the President's motorcade according to Haitian law is described as a crime. The case is currently in the investigating chamber [...]" affirming "this is a criminal attack" adding that the investigation was very advanced and that about ten people have already been arrested as part of the investigation.
