Haiti - Politics : Towards the normalization of the communes of Liancourt and Montrouis 20/06/2017 09:49:10
During the trip, the delegation met with organized groups, notables and "citizens' councils" at the level of these two communes, constituted by the Decree of July 2015 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-14858-haiti-politic-5-new-communes-in-haiti.html but whose structures are not in place until now. This approach was also intended to communicate a clear and precise instructions to correct certain anomalies reported by local people regarding the charging of fees, not within the competence of the "citizens councils," which was installed in December 2016 to lay the foundations for the operation of these two new communes.
