iciHaiti - Economy : Entrepreneurship training for 100 young people in Carrefour 27/06/2017 10:53:09 Among the speakers at this free training session : entrepreneur and co-owner of Potiwa Rock André, entrepreneur and owner of Papito's Raoul Joseph Junior, entrepreneur and journalist Joel Lorquet and sales and marketing specialist Jean-Yves Molin. Several successful business women also shared their experiences with the young participants. IVEC also offered the opportunity for many young people to sell a set of low-priced products during this activity in order to encourage them to creates their own businesses, jobs and get out of poverty. Learn more about the IVEC : The "Initiative of Volunteers Engaged for Change" (IVEC) is a nonprofit organization founded November 18, 2014 in order to promote citizenship education based on values, contribute to sustainable human development by organizing training sessions across the country on entrepreneurship and access to credit among others. It also participates in campaigns to secure the right to life of communities through education, risk prevention in health, hygiene and environment.
