The five agreements signed relate to : A funding of nearly $ 55 million for a municipal development and urban resilience project in Cap-Haitien to improve municipal services and reduce flooding risks in the short and medium term. This project is funded by the International Development Association (IDA) for $48 million and a grant from the Climate Investment Fund (CIF) for $7 million; Four additional funds totaling $100 million mobilized by the International Development Association (IDA) crisis response mechanism to support reconstruction after the devastating hurricane Matthew.
