Haiti - Politics : Follow-up of works at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport
The modernization and rehabilitation works of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport are progressing rapidly. From inside to outside, the teams are working tirelessly.

At the Airport Arrival Room, sanitary facilities such as toilets, washbasins and accessories were replaced and at the Departure Room maintenance was carried out in the air conditioning system.

In addition to traffic signs, tracings to make vehicle traffic more fluid on the airport site, a large metal structure to be used as a cover for passengers and users of the building has been erected to welcome passengers in better condition.



The construction of a dormitory for night workers including a landing desk to house the airmen is in the finishing phase.

Irving Méhu, the new Director General of the National Airport Authority, who is looking forward to the completion of this work, renewed his determination to work on the modernization of the International Airport and Port-au-Prince and those of the main cities of the country.
