Haiti - NOTICE : 18,000 metric tonnes of Vietnamese rice expected in the country
The Bureau of Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) informs traders, (importers and wholesalers) of food products in particular that, that in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Governments of Vietnam and Haiti on January 16, 2013 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-7554-haiti-agriculture-impact-of-the-strategic-alliance-with-vietnam.html as part of the stabilization of the price of rice on the market, a cargo of 18,000 metric tons, or 720,000 bags of 25 kg rice, will arrive at the port of "Moulins d'Haïti" during the first week of October 2017 for marketing purposes.

For this purpose, traders interested in buying this rice are invited to register between September 18 and 29, 2017 at the Monetization Bureau located at number 12 of Boulevard Harry Truman, with the following documents valid for the fiscal year 2016-2017 :

- Professional Identity Card (CIP);
- Certificate of Patent;
- Fiscal Identity Card.
