Haiti - Politics : President Moïse to the launch of the KOSOL cooperative
Sunday at the Municipal Palace of Delmas, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by the Mayor of Delmas, Wilson Thursday and of Deputy of the Commune, Gary Bodeau, participated in the official launch of the "Kooperativ Solèy Leve" (KOSOL) cooperative.

In the presence of Yanick Mézile, the President of the PHTK (The Party of Jovenel Moïse), Serge Chéry the Director General of the National Council of Cooperatives (CNC), the Head of State welcomed the initiative and promised his support to the KOSOL affirming "This model of cooperative is to follow" adding "It is necessary that social investments are made by the State. Profits must not only be economic, they must also be social," stressing that the State institutions [Industrial Development Fund (IDF), National Bank of Credit (BNC), the National Office of Old-Age Insurance (ONA)] must reach the most vulnerable social strata," concluded President Jovenel Moïse, who strongly relies on access to credit.

For Yanick Mézile, KOSOL fulfills all the conditions to allow the institution to open its doors in all the communes of the country. Recalling that the mission of this cooperative is to combat poverty, provide financial services to all those who are engaged in economic activity, provide them with technical support to facilitate the development of their businesses and improve life of entrepreneurs of the micro-enterprise.
