The National Association of Border Mayors (ANMF) wishes to strengthen the response capacity of its town halls to the basic needs of the border area in the areas of migration, trade, agriculture, health, sustainable tourism and tourism. education and their ability to produce reliable and accessible data on the border strip. This partnership also aims at institutional strengthening of town halls through the training of mayors and officers of border town halls but also support in municipal management. UniQ and the National Association of Border Mayors want to promote the participation of residents in the development of their respective communes by encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experience between the University and the communities and communities between them. Article 1.Object The purpose of this protocol is to establish a collaboration between the uniQ and the National Association of Border Mayors within the framework of the Vwazen project, a support project for local authorities aiming to produce a sustainable development framework for each community. transfer knowledge and skills and empower the local population. This project allows student volunteers to put their knowledge into practice and gain experience in their fields of study and beyond by engaging and investing in a community. Arrangements for consultation UniQ and the National Association of Border Mayors agree to share their knowledge of local realities, and their respective know-how, for the deployment of the Vwazen project in the communes, districts and communal sections of the border area. Article 3. Implementation Within the framework of this Memorandum of Understanding, eleven areas of local development can be the subject of collaboration: - Administration and Institutions - Spatial planning and infrastructures - Economy and Finance - Education and Research - Society and Culture - Science and Technology - Justice and Security - Foreign Relations - Migration - Environment and Health - Brand identity The two parties undertake to seek separately and jointly the financing necessary for carrying out the activities provided for under this Agreement, including the following four actions: - A monograph of the area with geo-referenced data to be used to set up a decision support system - An integrated border development plan - The census of built properties - A brand identity for the border strip, with a communication plan for the region, a web portal and an organized presence in the media, including social networks Article 4. Follow-up procedure UniQ and the National Association of Border Mayors will jointly develop an annual work plan and will meet every three months to monitor and evaluate this Memorandum of Understanding. Article 5. Duration This Memorandum of Understanding is concluded for three years from the date of signature and is renewed by tacit agreement. It may be terminated at the written request of either party with a notice period of 2 months.
