Haiti - Football : Women's Cup U-20, our Grenadières in St Kitts
Arrived late in the evening on Sunday in St Kitts after a long trip from Port-au-Prince and a long stopover in Miami, our Grenadiers are preparing their first game of the 3rd Edition of the U20 Women's Caribbean Championship, which unlike the previous edition, will be a quadrangular to take place over three days of competitions.

Apart from our star Nerilia Mondésir who arrives on Tuesday at 4:00, the group is in full force and trained Monday evening on a very damaged ground of Basse Terre, capital of St Kitts under the orders of Fiorda Charles and Hubert Anglade.

Coach Marc Collat complaining of the lamentable state of the field, but the girls have trained well while avoiding the risk of injury as much as possible.

First of all to qualify and do everything to maintain the title is the objective of our National Selection despite the handicap of several absences of weight (Melissa Dacius, Mikerline St Felix, Sarafina Joseph, Daphnee Auguste, Naphtaline Clermeus) for various reasons, injuries first and foremost, forcing coaches to draw heavily on the nursery of the U-17s, recent champions of the Caribbean.

The only drawback is the absence since the July tournament of preparation matches due to lack of financial resources. Moreover without the help of FIFA who decided to support the air tickets, the situation would have been more critical for our Grenadiers at this competition.

Caribbean tournament schedule :

Wednesday, November 22
5:00 pm : Jamaica vs Rep. Dominican
7:30 pm : St Kitts & Nevis vs Haiti

Friday, November 24
5:00 pm : Haiti vs Jamaica
7:30 pm : St Kitts & Nevis vs Rep. Dominican

Sunday, November 26
5:00 pm : Haiti vs Dominican Republic
7:30 pm : St Kitts & Nevis vs Jamaica

Only the first two countries in the final ranking of this quadrangular will qualify for the Concacaf Championship which will take place in Trinidad & Tobago from January 18 to 28, 2018.
