Haiti - Ski : "Rasta Piquet" in preparation for the World Ski Championships 2011

Jean-Pierre Roy aka "Rasta Piquett" the first Haitian to participate in in the World Ski Championships, and President of the Haitian Federation of Ski, is arrived in Bavaria [Germany] Sunday, February 6 with his coach, Christophe Montillet , a friend of the club, that he had hired for hus qualification in fall 2010.

Yesterday Monday, in the morning, Jean-Pierre Roy visited the trade fair ISPO in Munich, to meet particular, its equipment supplier for the Ski, Rossignol and remember that the purpose of his involvement was primarily to talk about Haiti in a positive way and revive the generosity for his country.

In the afternoon, Jean Pierre went to Garmisch Partenkirchen to the Opening Ceremony of the World Ski 2011, before resuming his training for the two qualifying races [February 17 and 19]. Whether he wins or not, "Rasta Piquette" has already won his bet, the European televisions confirmed that they will cover his descent.
