The Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security (BSESP) welcomes the massive presence of citizens in the streets and encourages them to fully enjoy the holiday season. Taiwan : 440 tons of rice seeds for Artibonite
As part of the project "Strengthening Capacity of Rice Seed Production in Haiti" (RECAPSRIH), the Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti, at the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, made available to 20,000 rice farmers for the second rice season in the Artibonite Valley, 440 tons of seeds (TCS10) valued at more than 13 million gourdes.

Canaan : Handicraft Fair
As part of its training and capacity building activities, the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), in partnership with "Prosperity Catalys", carried out a program to reinforce 18 craft workshops through the continuous training of 36 artisans. These craftsmen have successfully completed the program and obtained their certificates this Saturday, December 23, at the Olympic Center. It also proceed to an exhibition of their products. This activity is part of the "Ann Bouste Canaan" project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID - Haiti) in partnership with the American Red Cross and under-funded by "Global Communities".

Civil Protection has 20 years
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Directorate of Civil Protection in Haiti (DPC) met with its technical and financial partners working in disaster prevention and response in Haiti to discuss its achievements and challenges. The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Japan are pleased to have supported the round table on the sign of innovation.
