Haiti - Politic : Message of the new year by Mayor of Port-au-Prince
On the eve of the New Year, the Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Ralph Youri Chevry wishes all Haitians in general and especially those of his commune, a happy new year 2018 and a good Independence Day.

In his message he continues "...] 2017 was extremely difficult but the municipal administration managed to put the necessary foundations that we wanted to put in place.

I know there are a lot of issues that are important for the port-au-princiens, especially the sanitation of the city, it is a work that we started, we know that it is not finished yet but we are moving fast. We wish the collaboration of all during the year 2018 to arrive to take up challenge of fatras https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19586-haiti-environment-port-au-prince-declares-war-to-the-rubbish.html , although we all know it, it is not the responsibility of the town hall but we have made the commitment to give this service and that is what we do.

We want families to stay together, because that is what guarantees the future of children, the future of this city.

Continue to make a better for Port-au-Prince, Ralph Youri Chevry is confident that with all the administration and its Deputy Mayor to give the necessary results that will allow Port-au-Prince to relive.
