Haiti - Japan : $34M donation for the Croix des Missions and the Route Neuve bridges 20/01/2018 09:22:48
These two bridges will ensure at least for the next 50 years, the continuity of traffic between the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince and the Great North. The construction of these prestressed concrete bridges, located at Croix-des-Missions and Cité Soleil, is financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JIPA) thanks to a donation of more than 34 million (34,345,636.36 US dollars). The 32-month project will be carried out by Hazama Ando Corporation (one of the ten largest Japanese-built multinational companies founded in 1889, with locations in the United States, Mexico, Central America and South America, among others).
