Haiti - FLASH : No shortage of fuels to be feared
In a note, the Secretary of State for Public Security Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr denies the rumors of these last days suggesting a fuel shortage in Haiti, following the sealing of several tens of thousands of barrels of fuel imported by the company National Distributors SA (DINASA) not meeting the standards prescribed by the Office of Monetization Programs Development Assistance (BMPAD).

The Secretary of State informs the general public and the owners and drivers of vehicles in particular, that an order for petroleum products placed by the Government through the BMPAD arrived Sunday, February 25 at Terminal Varreux SA (Tevasa) and that there is no fuel scarcity to fear in the local market.

It is asking the public not to panic and ensures that everything is being done to make this fuel available on time at service stations.
