Haiti - Politic : Management of communal funds, Minister Fleurant explained to the Senate 02/03/2018 10:34:39
Minister Fleurant told members of the Commission that all current projects have been solicited by the town halls explaining that he had delegated the project management to the institutions with the required expertise in this area. He cited as examples 38 projects delegated to the Ministry of Public Works, 12 to the Ministry of Health and 18 to the Ministry of the Interior, stating that all funds were available for each of the institutions concerned. Senators expect to have other meetings soon, including with the National Federation of Mayors (FENAM) to ensure that local authorities are both beneficiaries and actors of development projects.
