Haiti - Economy : One million for women entrepreneurship in the North

On Wednesday, as part of the launch of the "Ranfosman Pouvwa Ekonomik Fanm nan Nord" (RAPEK North) program, which will be led by the Northern Women Entrepreneurs' Association (FemEnNord), Senator Dieudonne Luma Étienne presented a check for one million gourdes to finance the various entrepreneurial innovation projects of organizations and groups of women in the North.
This Financing Program is part of the plan for recovery and empowerment of women in the North department. It aims to support women's structures in the 19 communes of North through entrepreneurial projects that can foster growth and community development.
On the eve of the 43rd International Women's Day, Senator Étienne (the only woman in the Senate) says she is proud and pleased to be able to begin this process, which contributes to the promotion of entrepreneurship and women leadership at the departmental level.
