Thursday in Savanette (district of Lascahobas) in the Center department, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Pierre Simon Georges, Minister of the Environment, Ing. Fritz Caillot, Minister of Public Works, Jobert C. Angrand the new Minister of Agriculture Senators Center, Willot Joseph and Wilfrid Gelin, the Deputy of Savanette, Guerda Benjamin and a representative of the Inter-American Development Bank (BID), visited the Flandé / Savanette road rehabilitation works and the Fer-à-Cheval river field before talking with the population.

Deputy Benjamin Guerda drew the attention of President Moïse on a set of concerns of residents of the commune including the state of the road, support to farmers, activities at the border, the need for a maternity hospital, the electricity problem, the transport of schoolchildren, etc...

Welcomed by the Mayor of Savanette, Wisney Gaston and several hundred citizens, schoolchildren and members of local organizations, Moses first reviewed some of the concerns of citizens.

He promised 1 bus for schoolchildren and 1 vehicle for the police, before announcing a set of programs and projects to be implemented as soon as possible: "Kay Pam klere", the construction of 24.5 km of road, in addition 12 km to the border, bridges on some rivers, the establishment of a hospital for the community, the construction of a football field for young people, drinking water supply, a vocational school and Savanette's connection to Baptiste.
