Ronsard Saint-Cyr, the Secretary of State for Public Security announced the means that are and will be used to secure the metropolitan area. He also revealed that the PNH had begun patrolling with drones in the area, which have already allowed several arrests from the images taken by these drones. It should be remembered that this 90-day pilot operation aims to reduce the number of attacks and passenger thefts in areas near the Toussaint Louverture International Airport by at least 80%. Throughout the duration of Operation "Welcome to Haiti", all motorcycles will be prohibited from circulating around the Airport up to Gérald Bataille, including the areas around the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police.
