Haiti - Basketball FIBA 2021 : Haiti's comeback on the international scene 25/06/2018 08:21:13
After 37 years of absence on the international scene the Haitian selection, under the leadership of the American coach, Matthew Brase, has successfully made his entry. With winger Jeantal Cylla 2m01, 99kg (SG University of North Carolina, Wilmington) 33 points, 8 rebounds and one pass, 10/15 to the basket for an average of 66% success, and Marvin Dominique 18 points, the Haitian team won against Barbados (78 - 62). The Haitian team, whose players all play outside Haiti, in American Universities and Clubs in Europe and Central America, is in Group G with opponents : Antigua and Barbuda, Monserrat, Bermuda and Barbados. List of 11 Haitian players : Antoine Joseph (11 Lobos / Salvador), Clide Geffrard Jr, Carrel Joseph (Red Dragons, Cortland, NY), David Jean-Baptiste, Farnold Degand (University of Tennessee, Chattanooga / USA), Hernst Laroche (Rio Gallegos Argentine), Jeantal Cylla (SG University of North Carolina, Wilmington), Jean Frantz Massenat (Ewe Baskets Oldenburg, Allemagne), Jeffrey Reginald Coby, Kervin Bristol , Marvin Dominique (SF Aix Maurienne, France).
