According to this document, if these tariffs were applied, tobacco would be taxed at 60%, currently 20% (+ 40%), whiskey, vodka, cognac and other strong alcohol would be taxed at 60% currently 25% (+ 35%). Tariffs on detergents and cleaning products would be taxed at 30%, flour in bags 25% and all plastic products at variable rates. All of these measures initially concern 22 families of products and 15 others in a second time. The application of these measures includes, in parallel, the strengthening of internal controls and import controls (quality, smuggling, etc.) as well as measures to promote investment.
