Haiti - Petit-Goâve : A false hougan abuses a minor and swindles a family

A 43-year-old man, David Martin, who pretended to be a hougan (voodoo priest) was arrested for sexually abusing two sisters, including a minor, and swindled 100,000 gourdes to heal the mother of the two girls, said at the microphone of show Penpennen (Radio Préférence FM), Hilet Jacques, the father of the two victims.
His 15-year-old under-age daughter he was accompanying on the radio, decided to break the silence and admitted that she had been sequestrated and raped several times by David Martin "I was afraid to speak. I feel so blamed by my conscience that I confessed to the truth before the examining magistrate Me Gédéon that David forced me to sleep with him [...] The day of the arrest of David by the police of Petit-Goâve, he made love to me and my cousin in a room. My father surprised all three of us and he alerted the police," explained the young minor.
His father added that David Martin had also had sex with his eldest daughter ... Moreover, he claimed that this individual had taken from the family the sum of 100,000 gourdes to cure his wife who was sick and claimed justice, adding "David Martin threatened to kill me after his release..."
