The Mayor of Petit-Goâve closes the town hall
Tuesday, the Mayor of Petit-Goâve Jean Samson Limongy officially closed the doors of the town hall, because of insufficient tax revenues and financial resources to pay its employees and operate the various services of the city.

Food security : 42 million euros
Working meeting between the executives of the Office of the National Authorizing Officer (BON), of the Delegation of the European Union and the Directors General of the Ministries of Health, Social Affairs and Agriculture to present and validate the Quote-Program on Food and Nutrition Security of the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) for an amount of 42 million Euros, which will extend until November 2023. The main objective of this Program is to strengthen intersectoral governance while improving the food and nutritional security conditions of the most vulnerable departments of North West and Upper Artibonite.

Centre : Reopening of 41 community restaurants
Tuesday Charles Ernest Chatelier, Director General of the Fund for Economic and Social Assistance (FAES), went to the department of the Center to revive the project of community restaurants. He met with the restaurant managers, then the FAES delivered food supplies for the operation of the 41 restaurants of the department. Remember that this project plans to operate 775 restaurants across the country, at least one in each communal section. The price of the dishes is fixed at 10 Gourdes.

Debate in sign language
The Sign Language Debate Club in partnership with the Haiti Initiative for Equitable Development (IDEH) and the Center for Inclusion organized a debate on gender-based violence: forms and typologies. The participants were made aware of the different forms of violence, the means to protect themselves and the behavior to adopt if they are victims.
