Haiti - Cap-Haïtien : ISPAN disagrees with the statements of the Town Hall
Following the inaccurate declarations published on the Facebook page of the Town Hall of Cap-Haïtien dated July 29, 2018, the Institute of Safeguarding National Heritage (ISPAN) is anxious to provide the precisions of use "the statements tending to make believe that the rehabilitation works of the Barriere-Bouteille are carried out at the expense of the municipality do not fit the reality https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-25097-haiti-news-zapping.html ".

ISPAN reminds that in less than 10 years, "the Institute has already carried out 3 interventions on this site, the third of which is being financed by the Public Treasury and entrusted to the firm 'SABEL Construction' whose headquarters is in Cap-Haitien."

On the other hand, ISPAN makes it clear that "it can not receive, in cash or in kind, any funding that has not previously been approved by its parent ministry, the Ministry of Culture. It should be noted that the town hall has no agreement with ISPAN to intervene on the Barrière-Bouteille and that the Institute is thinking about an alternative aiming at the development of this historic monument."
