Thursday, Colombe Émilie Jessy Menos, the resigning Minister of Tourism has officially welcomed the presence in Haiti of the singer-songwriter and Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade and her who performed Thursday night in Port-au-Prince. Yemi Alade said she was delighted with her stay and was in love with the local gastronomy and the warm welcome of Haitians.

Frisch the General Director of the Museum of the Haitian National Pantheon (MUPANAH) welcomed Jean Bradley Derenoncourt, the General Councilor of the city of Brockton (Massachusetts), during his visit to the museum in the morning. Let's remember that Jean Bradley Derenoncourt is the first elected Haitian-American city of Brockton, a city just south of Boston, where lives a large Haitian community
New Penal Code
This Friday, August 10 at the Karibe Hotel (Pétion-Ville) from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, the Standing Committee on Justice, Public Security and Human Rights in the Chamber of Deputies will proceed to the official launching ceremony of mobilization project for the adoption of the draft penel Code, the draft new code of criminal procedures and the draft law on legal assistance initiated by the Commission with the support of the Minujusth. The Ambassador of the United States will be present at this event.
