Moreover, the MHAVE wishes to reassure citizens of the diaspora in general and American Airlines users in particular "that the decision of this company to proceed to the cut of 2 flights is not a decision directed against the country and the Haitians. Haiti is not the only country affected. This decision is justified, according to the director of communication of the American Airlines, by judicious economic measures being applied to the company. The MHAVE understands very well the turmoil caused by this news in the Haitian communities of Florida and New York used to travel to Haiti from the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International and John F.
