Haiti - FLASH : Federal Judge prevents Trump administration to cancel TPS 05/10/2018 08:39:51
In his decision, Judge Chen writes that "The government has failed to establish any real harm if 'the status quo' is maintained during the pendency of this litigation," adding that "plaintiffs and amici have established without dispute that local and national economies will be hurt if hundreds of thousands of TPS beneficiaries are uprooted and removed." Following this decision, Marleine Bastien, Executive Director of the Family Action Network Movement (FANM), said, "This decision is a great news.
