Haiti - Politic : The Minister of Education intends to put order
Tuesday Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, Minister of National Education met with the main officials of the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR) on the management of files of the teaching and administrative staff of the Ministry.

Streamline the management of resources, standardize and enforce procedures, understand the weaknesses that hinder the smooth running of personnel files and empower officers involved in the staff management process and the question of teacher appointments were at the center of the exchanges

For the Minister Cadet, each manager must ensure its task with professionalism must assume its responsibilities. Regarding the appointments he reminded that beyond the emergencies "it is important to respect the procedures and to follow each case according to the established regulations," reaffirming his commitment so that each teacher can have his letter of appointment as soon as he is in classroom and meets the criteria of the job profile.

Meniol Jeune, the Director General of the Ministry as well as the Chief of Staff, Jackson Pléteau, echoed the same by asking each manager to put aside their personal problems in order to better manage the State files.

Several HRD managers took the opportunity to express some frustrations and to report some of the difficulties encountered in their work, especially the difficult working conditions, due to problems with premises.

Cadet promised to provide incremental answers to some of the issues raised but asked for each agent's understanding. In addition, he insisted on the supervision teams who must go to the schools to take stock of the problems identified with a note of commitment from each School Director who will have to confirm each member of the staff.
