Haiti - Politic : FOLONHA launches a call for dialogue and consultation 15/11/2018 10:01:24
"The Foundation rejects any philosophy, idea, trend or political doctrine that advocates violence because it is contrary to democratic values. For a long time, Haitians have experienced violence and have only further crippled the country into poverty and regression. In these modern times, FOLONHA recommends that traditional politicians give Haiti a chance and take a look at our Dominican neighbors who, during deep political crises, have always opted for dialogue, peaceful solutions... in a way, modernity for their country [...] The Foundation believes that the show we are currently offering to the world is tiresome, repulsive and in very bad taste. This cheap political show disgraces us more and goes against the dream of the founding fathers of the Haitian homeland. The time has come for Haitians to make a serious awareness and realize that our current choices only further belittle us and make us ridiculous in the face of the international community and our Caribbean neighbors in particular, who have made great sacrifices and have definitively chosen the path of endogenous and sustainable progress and development [...].
