Haiti - Politic : Launch of construction work on the road section Mombin Crochu / Vallières

Aimé Ignace Saint Fleur, Director General of the Monisation Office of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) proceeded to launch the construction works of the Mombin Crochu / Vallières section and the opening up of the North-East.

This work will extend over 19 km and will be carried out by a consortium of three state entities namely : Ministry of Public Works which will provide heavy equipment and technicians, the Ministry of Defense who will bring the expertise of the Corps of Military Engineering and the BMPAD that will provide funding through housing, food and fuel needed for the operation of the gear.

The ceremony included the Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces, Jodel Lessage, the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Louis Marcelin Daniel, local elected officials, representatives of the government and civil society.

Note that this project is a promise of President Moïse is a first in the history of the Department of Northeast.
